Pet Waste! It’s an issue any pet owner has to tackle at some stage. You can certainly take care of it yourself however that is not always possible or practical. We are happy to create a schedule to remove any pet waste from your property at a reasonable fee to work within your schedule. Currently we have Saturday and Sunday appointments readily available. Pricing is based on lawn size and number of (typically) dogs you have in your household. For removal of pet waste for other animals a quote may be required and some arrangements made. Our service can either be on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or even a one-time event if needed.
Typical rates are:
RATES | 1 DOG | 2 DOGS | 3 DOGS | 4 DOGS |
ONCE A WEEK | $13 | $17 | $21 | $24 |
EVERY TWO WEEKS | $18 | $21 | $24 | $29 |
ONCE A MONTH | $43 | $53 | $63 | $73 |
ONE TIME CLEANUP* | $55 | $62 | $70 | $82 |
Billing is by invoice which can be set up under many flexible methods of payment. Cash, check, Paypal, and credit cards are some methods we accept. We can discuss your preferred method of payment when setting up services. This can be changed at any time you like. Returned payments will generate a $20.00 returned payment fee and service may be suspended until payment is covered. In the event of a large weather event which prevents service on your scheduled day no invoice will be generated until that service day can be rescheduled or service provided.
FAQ:
Will rain stop my service?
No, rain and other minor weather events do not stop service visits. Only extreme weather events where roads are closed or the ground is not visible in any way would cause a service date to be missed. Snow events will be confirmed if service is desired and a decision can be made at time of contact.
Do you offer lawn care services?
Yes! In fact, there’s a discount package waiting for you if you need your lawn serviced as well as cleaned! Grass of length over 6 inches will make cleanup harder, if your grass is excessively long we can offer a trim (at a reasonable price) to aid in future cleanups!
Do you offer litter box cleanups?
Not at this time
Can I skip or postpone services?
Yes! Just let us know if you would like to skip a service week and no invoice will be generated for that week.
Why do you charge a surcharge to haul away waste?
Dog waste is not fertilizer! It does nothing beneficial to the soil and can actually contribute negatively to the environment and watershed. It is perfectly acceptable to dispose of this in a non-recyling can or bin designated by you however if it is removed from the property it needs to be categorized as hazardous waste.
Do you clean your equipment between visits?
After your location has been cleaned our equipment is sterilized with a mixure of Bleach and Chlorhexidine. This combination kills most canine transmitted illnesses before they leave your property.
Do I need to be home for you to visit?
No, but we ask that in most cases your dogs are inside if you are not present.
How does a typical service visit proceed?
When we arrive we will text the number on file to ask to enter the yard. Once this has been acknowledged (unless other arrangements have been made in advance) we will unpack and proceed to begin cleaning. Once the cleaning is finished and the waste bagged it will be sealed and either deposited in your can or removed. Our tools will be put in cleaning solution and we will depart sending a text on the way out as an ‘All Clear’.
Do my dogs need to be put away during service?
Maybe! As much as we adore dogs of all types and sizes sometimes dogs get very protective of their own homes. This is a matter that can be discussed and we can meet your Canine friends. If your dogs are protective of their home or otherwise a risk then we ask you to contain them during the visit. If they are not protective then we have no issue working with your dogs out and about after being introduced to them.
